Hi Lori LaShawn Brown! I drove through Waco recently...quickly. Seriously, our Education teams probably were as The Flippen Group is also the largest teacher-training organization in the country. I'm glad you experienced the wacky world of radio. Imagine 30+ years of it!

As of late, I have been working with educators for professional development training. This includes school districts and Communities in Schools. Since the course is entitled "Everybody Matters" we really seek to highlight the value each group brings to the table, ie age, gender, race, culture, weight, and much more. I worked as an ED for an international organization that had a similar focus. I, along with a couple of people in New York, developed an original offering that they are currently using in the Office of the Governor, State of New York. I also like to tailor the presentation to the group while at the same time spend ample time shifting their paradigms from assimilation to differentiation to inclusion. We also cover how important listening is and give each person a chance to give voice to their own concerns in a comfortable and safe place. Hope that answer helped. Thanks for responding so quickly. I absolutely love your closing quote.

If you need further information, please contact me directly... LaShawn@oneinabillionconsulting.com. Thanks again!

LaShawn,

Hello and thank you for your message. In response to your question; yes, I do have three trainers (and myself) who are trained in diversity/diversity workshops.

What area of diversity is your concentration and or experience? There are times when we need to subcontract training sessions do to volume and or subject matter.

Do something today, that will make yesterday jealous!
