- About Me:
- While serving as an Army, Combat Medic in the 1st Cavalry division in Iraq, Sgt. A.J. Tucker studied online to become a certified fitness trainer. In Baghdad, he worked out with other soldiers in a makeshift gym inside a tent and handed out exercise plans. This helped his time go by just a little faster while being away from his family and friends – while serving his country overseas. As a medic/fitness enthusiast, he saw firsthand how taking care of your body could mean the difference between life and death. He would take his squad of 8 soldiers, and any others who wanted to join, on the Black Top and ran them through rigorous fitness drills to keep them motivated, alert and fit to fight. This is the unique environment Mr. Tucker honed his skills as a fitness trainer and a motivator, in a hazardous area as a combat medic. Since his return, August of 2005, AJ has been instructing classes for Boot Camp Fitness all over the Dallas/Ft.Worth area to shape up willing civilians. His style of training is so effective that in September of 2005, four weeks after his return, he made the Dallas Morning News and NBC channel 5 on the same day. He takes on each client with the same care and intensity as he did in Iraq. He believes that fitness is a lifestyle that will improve other aspects of life; the family, the church, and on the job. He does seminars and workshops with different churches around the Metroplex to give guidance in the area of fitness and nutrition. AJ also conducts 90 day challenges at different corporations to the benefit of the company. A health conscious corporation has lower medical cost, motivated employees, and more efficiency on the job, just like the Army!
